Springsteen to celebrate Pete Seeger at 90.

Bruce Springsteen is expected to be part of a special tribute to Folk Legend Pete Seeger who turns 90 years young in May. Fellow legendary performers will include Steve Earle, John Mellancamp, Eddie Vedder, and Emmylou Harris. The show will take place at the Madison Square Garden in New York City on May 3rd.

Sporingsteen and Seeger have performed before, most recently at the Inaugaration Celebrations for new US President Barack Obama. Seeger of course provided much of the inspiration and influence for the Folk Album released by Springsteen in 2005, 'We Shall Overcome.. The Seeger Sessions'.
