Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band live from The Meadowlands

Tuesday 9th / Wednesday 10th October 2007
The Magic tour has continued through 'home ground' with 2 shows at the CAA, East Rutherford, a venue which Bruce famously 'opened' in 1981. He has played this venue more than any other with the E Street Band. The venue lies a stones throw from Giants Stadium, scene of Springsteen's 10 night Summer 2003 stand.

Bruce Springsteen, unlike so many of his contemporaries, isn't ready to simply roll out the hits for his fans. He has too much he still wants to say. While most rockers from the '70s have long stopped trying to introduce new material into their sets, Springsteen and the E Street Band continue to bravely push new songs - and new ideas - to the faithful and the strategy is working Newsday.com
