Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band's 'Magic' tour has opened in the Springsteen hotbed Hartford CT, a city which Bruce and the band have played on many a famous night.
The opening night set draws heavilly from the new release of Springsteen's 15th studio album Magic (released 1.10.07 in Europe, 2.10.07 in the US). On top of 8 songs from the new album, old favourites are littered around the set.
"And so it begins!" Springsteen cried before the band launched into the uplifting 1980 anthem The Ties That Bind and renewed its covenant with the sold-out crowd of 16,000
